I once had a business which required me to cover stores from O.C. to Thousand Oaks but mostly within L.A. itself. I was on the freeways most of the time. I enjoyed that riding enormously.

PV Drive East is usually pretty open as long as you're not in commuting times, same with South/West. It's not as long as Mulholland nor is it as clear of potential cross traffic but I've only seen people drive stupid there less times than I have fingers on one hand since the mid 90s. Plus you get to ride Portuguese Bend which is a lot of fun on a moto.

As for on topic..

Not surprised, I just like the pretty spray of water from his pack.

Nice formation riding from the cops. Most of the rest of the shots look like the same bikes over and over again. Some people with nothing better to do?

Nothing better to do than ride up and down an awesome twisty road all day? You make it sound like a bad thing!

I guess some of you notice the same bikes over and over again?

I've hung out there for a bit and notice there's a contingent of 'riders' that do nothing but run up and down that 1 mile stretch of road for hours.

it starts from just above the rock store to the snake. up and down, up and down all day long.

Once or twice - Sure! Then move on somewhere else. Up and down the same bit of road all day - No matter how twisty, it is going to get boring pretty quickly IMO.

I don't think he meant literally the same road all day long. You can ride great twisties in that area all day long without covering the same ground twice.
