Fuck the NBA. Been fixed as long as I can remember and they don't even bother trying to hide it any longer. David Stern is a cuntbubble.

Yeah, there wont be any parody in the NBA as long as Stern gives the big market teams everything they want. He lets the players dictate the league when it should be the other way around.

Steve Nash is a stand up guy by all accounts, he ain't Gary Peyton. And Mr. Howard is YOUNG and Kobe and Nash will mentor him and he will carry the torch from Kobe and will have the team built around him and be the Laker's next Dominate big man.
Mikan Wilt Kareem Shaq Howard.. It is the order of ascension that is natural in the Laker Pantheon of Gods and Legands....

you can stir all you want but he's right. I wish Nash the best and hope he finally gets a ring.

the only thing in this thread I could possibly like. I can't stand the NBA but Nash always comes across as a standup guy. Plus my sportscenter needs less lebron and more datsuyk/zetterberg during that time of year

Even Laker fans feel that way... Nice story in the LA Times today about parallels to Kareem with regards to age and similar circumstances between he and Howard and both becoming Laker's. Kareem will also be a special Coach assigned to work with Howard... as he did with Bynum..

I'm a Sixer fan and my buddy is a Laker fan and he congratulated me on getting Bynum. I asked him why. I feel he's the laziest, unhealthiest, overrated player in the NBA. My buddy says he awesome. If he's so awesome, why did the Lakers fight so hard to get rid of him (I know Howards better, but still)?
In this day and age of the NBA where there's about 2 or 3 decent centers, I guess Bynum looks ok. If he played in the 80's, he would be the worst center in the league. He would only be mediocre if he played in the 90's, etc,,,. Not real thrilled with the pickup to be honest.

Bynum's got the tools to succeed. Too bad he's a chump.
