Just a little kidding! Your photos are so well composed, you seem to fill every shot from edge to edge with color and content.
Thanks

Yes, I process my photos instead of letting the camera do everything automatically. I get more creative with some of them. The recent photos have been processed with PicMonkey, an online photo-editor.

Like this one.

Great report and it brings back a lot of memories for me.
I do find the "enhanced" pics a bit tiring. Because we know it don't look like that.
But as an old ident photographer, its gotta be all real all the time.

Wow, that has to be the best RR I have ever seen. My wife (who just did a 4,500 mile ride with me to Newfoundland) and I are sitting here trying to figure out how we could follow in your wheel tracks. We are both in awe of your photos and appreciate your candor about the stresses that can happen when traveling together. We understand completely. For some reason my wife wanted to make sure I didn't miss the part where you were in a bad mood and a little snappy. Not sure why she found that part so interesting.

Thanks for sharing your your trip. You are one hell of a photographer.

Thanks Guys!

BTW, I watch TV and movies a lot, even though I know reality don't look like that. I never tire of the vivid colors, sharp contrast, and special effects. Cameras do a lousy job of capturing things the way our brains see it and an even worse job at capturing the feeling of being there. I could just let the bland in-camera processing do all of the work, but I would get bored real quick.

Late to the party as usual
What an interesting and entertaining ride report. Fantastic photos and just the right amount
of commentary. Just finished reading it.
I appreciate the time and effort you took to post it.
Is that mosquito in the photo actual size?
Thanks Dave

Regards
Carl

For Carl & Sherri.

Carl, The mosquito was not actual size in that photo. They are bigger than you are probably used to. They also sting like a bee and are extremely aggressive.

Cool2

WoW, this RR is amazing... I still have a sensory overload from all the pics you taken, this is one of the best RR i have ever read here... I had a hard time trying to choose a pic for my desktop background as every page has something better than the last... Great job! now I'm looking hard at a KTM for my next bike and with that kind of range I'll be set... Can't wait to see what your next adventure will bring.

Made the trip in 08 and have been reliving it through your report and pictures. I live in the flatland's of Mo. and was in awe of the mtns I rode through. Even with your excellent pictures no one can really know what it is like until you are "in the movie" as was mentioned earlier. Thank you very much for sharing with us.
