Cars - Everything Thread

Cars

What U got?

What do U like?

What don't U like?

What do U Lust?

What was ur 1st?

Moi:
Currently have a '97 Honda Accord EX - Not my choice, but in-laws were getting rid of it & it only had 62k. In perfect shape, & it can boogie with the v6

Jeez I like so many, just saw a Nissan GTR tonight - Black - fcuker was nice - 545 hp - wow. Audi's are nice, but I still like the shape of the old A8's compared to the current model.

Old skool stuff - I love most muscle cars. And always loved a 911 - most any years model.

The ugly current cars are those goofy looking Lincolns. That front end - wow is bad.

1st ride was a '79 VW Scirocco - 5 speed, 1.6l & it handled great. And was a fun car for a 18 yr old.

4 weeks a year, I work for a company that holds classic car auctions. Within the last 30 days, I've driven: A '70 Hemi Cuda, a Ferrari 360 Modena, an AMG Mercedes, a 425 horse 396 Corvette, a 409 '63 Impala, and a Chrysler K car.

Chrysler K car, huh? I bet that brought a pretty penny..........maybe even a nickel! Just teasin', but I am surprised to see enough interest that one would go to auction.

Me? I love cars, probably more than bikes.

My wife and I still have the first car we bought when we got married 17 years ago; a 1968 Camaro. It was pretty clapped out when we got it, but the paint and body were clean. We have worked on it slowly over the years, and added a 460 horse small block stroked to 383, a 6-speed transmission sourced from a Dodge Viper, 4:10 limited slip gears in the 12 bolt rear end, and 4-wheel disc brakes. It is a blast to autocross. The cooling system is overwhelmed at this point, so that's next. We can barely drive it this time of year, much less use the A/C.
