Help me id this car I saw

I saw a very attractive car this morning, but we were on the exit ramp in heavy traffic, and they were far ahead, so I wasn't able to ID it. Also, the rear had no badges at all.

It looked kinda like an Infinity G sedan: very clean lines, sculpted body, about the same size.

The rear deck lip was raised a bit (the deck line having a slight half moon) and incorporated the third brake light.

The dual exhaust nozzles were large ovals, which was quite ugly given the great lines of the car, kinda making me think it is a Korean make.

Otherwise, the car was really clean looking, again nicely sculpted and proportioned.

Any ideas? I believe all Infinities use normal, round exhaust ends and have the third brake light behind the rear glass. The lines seemed far too clean for Korean, but the crappy exhaust has me wondering.

That's from Infiniti's website. What was different about the rear end you saw?

The deck lid lip looks correct, except that the third brake light was built into the trunk lip.

Also, the exhaust nozzles were large ovals, maybe 6" wide and 3 inches high (quite gaudy).

I think it may have had more "shoulder" over the wheels.

The lights seemed much more simple, too and seemed to better disappear with the body, possibly not extending all the way to the body edge?

This is going to bug me! The car had really beautiful lines, like a P51-D.

From your description I thought either a Jaguar, or an Aston Martin but neither have a third brake light in the trunk as far as pics I have been able to find.

BMW 1 series has the light in the deck like you talked about. But I can't find one with the exhaust like that.

However, looking for said car on the internet is way more interesting than doing work...

The exhaust was larger and gaudier. And the form was much more organic and shapely.

Close, but the exhaust was really ugly!

Seriously, a gorgeously shaped car with no badges and ass-ugly factory exhaust.
