The first day I think we found every dead end road and finally a great connecter to the North that looked like it had not been used for a while. On the second day of riding, I soil sampled some silt and pulled a hamstring and thanks to WhiskySierra who joined us on the second day and helped me pick up the bike. On my second crash ( see pic ) A pine tree reached out and grabbed my handlebars, I guess it was my day. I left on day three, so not reinjure my hamstring and not be a liability out on the trail. Over all two day's of great Nevada riding and the clouds were spectacular. Thanks guy's, lets do it again. Pic's below.

Nice pics, Dan. Which way were you headed in the crash pics? I can't tell from the pics.

This way, straight ahead. The next picture in the link that I posted shows the pine tree that reached out and grabbed me. In this pic., the trail looks flat, but has a slight rise to it. This is the trail after that strange hunting shack that we stopped to look at. IdahoSam, did you see the link to my pictures?

Still more of the first day.

Dan is reaching.

Nice rear end.....

At Kyle Hot Springs.

The source.

120 F in this pool. Too hot.

94 F in the upper tub. Too cold. The bottom tub wasn't even warm.

Nice view of the dust storm on the playa. It was very windy.

On the other side of the valley.

Some of the locals enjoying the park.

At a dead end road.

You never know what you'll find in the middle of nowhere...........

Day two started off a little moist for the first hour. Dan arrived the night before so I had company today.

This was a freaky rock. It was like an egg. The outer shell had broken off.

This area of Nevada has more of these windmill driven stock water well pumps than I have seen anywhere.

That's all I got for day two.

Here is the start of day three. Bob arrived the night before so the three of us headed out on day three. He got about 100 yards and had to limp back to camp. Feel free to guess what happened.
