Two pages on acronyms.....I get enough of them at work.

I don't know what the new BMW/Ducati/Triumph dealer told that customer but he sure was storming out looking pissed with helmet on his arm a couple months back. He then got to his truck and somewhat rudely signaled to his wife to move over from the driver's seat so he could drive it. Then he roadraged out of the parking lot. Great....!

She asked me if I wanted AWD or FWD. Rather than argue the difference between AWD & 4WD, I simply told her that I think Ford's full size trucks are rear wheel drive, and "I wasn't aware of any FWD F150s".

She wanted to argue the point, and started looking at window stickers.
A Ford salesdrone, insisting that a F150 was FWD? I can understand her being clueless enough to not understand 4x4 vs AWD (and it's possible there's an AWD F150), but that's pretty lame all on its own.

Yeah, I won't be buying anything from her.

Holy crap dude!
The only ones confused are you and Slide!
Every freaking body else knows exactly what he was saying!
HE SAID FWD WAS FRONT WHEEL DRIVE!!

So if I buy an F-150, leave it in 4H and disconnect the rear driveshaft is it FWD?

Holy shit! Are our "special" ADV'ers still talking about FWD, RWD and 4WD?

Back to motorcycles with relevance to this:

Do you consider this an AWD or 2WD?

I bought a car a few years ago from a dealer, then a year later and 15,000 miles more on the clock sold it back to the same dealer, for the same amount of money

Not quite sure how I pulled that off, but I think I should have asked for more and I would have made money on that car
