dividing route in mac basecamp

I need to divide a route up to 50 points or less to get it to load on my Montana. I believe there is a "divide" tool in some versions of basecamp. I don't think there is a divide tool for the mac version of basecamp, is there any way to break up my route with out having to redo it in smaller sections?

I use BC in Windows and there is a Divide Tool. I use it a lot for tracks. I just tried it on a route and it didn't seem to want to work on a route.

I have divided routes in Mapsource in kind of a tedious way. First make a copy of the full route. Then open it for editing and change the name. Then go in and delete the waypoints you don't want in this segment. Then paste the original one back into the list and then go in and delete the other waypoints from this version.

Rinse and repeat as necessary.

The current Windows BaseCamp Beta (v4.0.0.5) can divide Route's using the Divide Tool. Both OS BaseCamps will have this tool when v4 is released. It currently works just fine in the Win-BC.

Cheers,
