I got an e-mail last Wednesday from the owner of the mold design shop and he said that we are just a couple of days away from our first product run. I drove out to see the finished mold last Friday and they were performing all the final polishing. So I'm hoping we see some test articles come out this week...

It's been a long day, but it's good to see things starting to come together.

And for the record the official capacity is going to be 5.49 US gallons. The weight of the tank complete with billet filler and cap is 14.2lbs. The stock tank with cap and my carbon fiber side panels weighed 15.2lbs...

Those are looking great! Let us know how they fit! I put my order in for a black one, but I keep thinking translucent would be more practical and orange might look cool too... I need one of each! I have been meaning to ask, is the orange going to end up translucent, or opaque?

The orange tank is completely opaque. No chance you'll be checking your fuel level through the plastic...

So, I'm finishing up production on the first batch of quick-disconnect fuel petcocks, and I need to choose a color for anodizing. I want to keep it simple and build just one color for now, so I'd really appreciate some imput from you guys.

Here's the options:

Natural
Orange
Black
Gold
Titanium

Voice up and let me know what you guys think!
