Reservations made at Red Mountain, lower RV sites the uppers were all taken. Donation made and signed up!
I met a few of you last year when I was staying there (Sprinter RV in site 9), looking forward to not riding by myself in the San Juans

Thanks for the inspiring pics, Big John. My F650GS is sitting, sadly, in the garage plugged into the wall. I'm glad for the much needed moisture, but missing being on the bike. Can't wait for the spring! And the summer! And the Rendezvous!

Any of you guys ride sleds in those passes in the winter? Being the flatlander that I am, I initially wondered what those tall sticks were doing on all those roads. Then it dawned on me. It must be equally majestic in the winter... in a different sorta way.
 BTW, the TX crew thoroughly enjoyed ourselves last year. Despite a couple of "mechanicals". |

Red Mountain RV is our basecamp and they rent sleds and guide tours. Not sure if they climb over those 12k passes or not.....but great question to ask.
