Thanks, I need that! Hit some nice sweepers please.
A couple of winters ago, the temp here (N. Dakota) never got above 0 degrees F, for a month straight, including the high temp, and the wind chills were often in the -40 to -50 range. I've seen -90 wind chills on a few occasions. Not fit for man nor beast.

I've lived here most of my life, but am ready to get the hell out.

Ok, back on topic:

Yeah, I've tried a variety of search combinations although I'm not sure I tried what you have suggested. Even tried focusing on japanese sites with no luck. I'll play around some more.

Alright, this anticipation thing, the waiting and wondering is killing me.
I was wondering about how Honda gets bikes to us here in the USA. It would only make sense they would sail them to a west coast port, then truck them across the country.
Can anyone shed some light on Honda's distribution system?

I'm not sure they do truck all the eastbound bikes cross country. When I was a young lad, I worked at a port in Rhode Island that imported Mitsubishi autos badged as Dodges and Plymouths. However, each ship had thousands of cars on it, so it was probably more economic to go via ship to the opposite coast than trucking them cross country. If you think about it, how many trucks carrying, what, 7 or 8 cars, would it take to get all those thousands of cars out east? Not sure how the smaller size of crated bikes would affect the economics, if at all. I'd also be interested to hear from anyone who knows anything about how the Japanese big-4 distribute to the east coast.

I could be wrong but it seems that they might be bringing them over one at a time in a small boat. Come on already Honda!

Perhaps you can get in touch with him for the source of the luggage or original photo.

I found this bags at a local cycle supply shop here in St. Paul. They have the "lunch box" look.
