I saw that today on my test sit. I remember some old bikes had a little wiper blade on the inside of the sight glass to wipe some of the "scum" off so one could check the oil level easier.

I assume this is the same thing?

At least #338 is out of the crate....almost. The dealer told me the paperwork is in the mail and I can't take it today. I should be able to get it early next week. Didn't even sit on it. The dealer said he could have sold 5 of them but he can't get any. The next one (abs) won't show up until June.

Thanks for the answer!

I didn't imagine in 100 years that they'd have included that. I was looking at one today and scratching my head about it. Glad I axed in here!

The service manager made a point of showing me the little wiper, since he figured (rightly) that I'd have no idea what it was. He was very enamored with the bike, I promised to bring it back to visit.

Has anyone tried to order a Factory service manual yet? I've looked online but haven't contacted my dealer as of yet.
Wow! 2740 comments on this wonderful machine. Other than actually riding my new 1100, this thread has become very exciting.
All the new owners/pics/ride reports/comments have really made this thread difficult to stay away from. Even at work, I check in on my phone to see what's new.

Thats over retail by $120
So the rear pulser "ring" signals both the speedometer and the ABS ?

Still did not ride it. I got home and the neighbor tells me he is the one who sent me the message about asking if I belonged to the Aryan Nation. I was asking everyone on FB if they had sent it. I told him I was half Coonass/ Half Dago you figure it out. I don't care what flavor you are I am an American Patriot!
Oh yea the CB1100 I went , I saw, I bought it. My son rode it home so this bike my 55th bike will have the record for the longest time w/o riding my new bike as I may not get to ride it tomorrow either. It looks good just looking at it especially in the son. Waxed it with S100. Wife is happy, life is good!
