When you ride bikes with character you get some lively discussion.

CB1100 owners ride thier bikes to the Bingo hall, then ride home for supper at 5:00pm so they can be in bed by 6:30 after watching Wheel of Fortune.

All in good fun mate.

Seriously? You're going to drag those bags every time you lean just a little. Is it even off the ground when it's on the sidestand? Plus you will probably melt the bag on the muffler. Good luck getting that mess off. I think you need to rethink this...

Thanks Buck80 and U need to show me how to post one day! The bag looks closer to muffler than it is. It has "thecycleguys.com spacers on the muffler side with a metal plate saddlebag guard.
Mr. Breeze don't be so strong on your opinions. Not insulted but I need to give more info on this. I have not even tested them on the CB11 yet. This is the exact set up from my Versys which carried "thecycleguys.com" rear peg bracket mounted saddlebags. They also were mounted very low. They never touched even in a twisties that leave no chicken strips. Mounted low also gives room for the cortech bags mounted higher up. If they scrape they will come off. This is only for a long trip I am making this summer. I already owned all the bags. The new sand black 36L Coocase trunk is lined, remote opener, and lights for $125 shipped free new and off EBay with mount. I am thinking of leaving this on most of the time since it is so convenient. I know it takes away from the standard look but I make all my bikes mine to please ME! I am also adding a Rear Admore lighting light bar probably to trunk or maybe the top of license, highway pegs, slightly taller and not as wide handlebars like I have on my Bonnie. I installed a Helmet Guardian on license plate bracket. , the following "Webike in Japan site" add ons for CB11, Dug Out brand Saddlebag guard supports for higher Cortech mounted bags,Cortech tail bag, Quick remove side cover attachments, horn relocation bracket not installed yet, adj. rider pegs and heal adj. peg to be installed today. Still waiting to install the higher bars and Gen Mar Risers before attempting a Brake Away Cruise installation. Modified a Memphis Shades Demon wind screen to fit CB11. Going with Russell
Braided brake and clutch in silver. Wish I could find red braided since I had that on VMax. Also on the list for July is the matching red headlight & bracket cover, rubber fork gaitors, upgrade Hyper Pro fork springs since the forks will need to be dropped to get the fork boots installed, August gets matching red CB750 retro sidecovers with retro sice cover decals,Red oil filter cap, September gets red matching front & rear fender. So far I am please with the webike Japan site. WTF it is only money and the time it is a flying!

Doesn't look like the bag will come close to exhaust. The bags look like "The Cycle Guys" type with a aluminum plate that the bags is mounted to. Which also appears to act as a shield from the heat along with supporting the "semi hard" bags (your prob Familiar with them). So yes Seriously...

I knew that! Unfortunately, I just now saw your TV post.

Cool old television. Do you work on them for fun or profit?

For fun. I restore only the early, Post WW-II televisions.

When I receive them, they are usually dirty, dusty, and dead for at least 50 years.

Forgotten names, like DuMont, Admiral, Stromberg-Carlson, RCA Victor, Raytheon, Zenith, Philco, and more.

I'll be one of five featued speakers at the Early Television Foundation this May 17th, in Hilliard, Ohio. It's the nation's TV museum, showcasing the largest collection of vintage television in the world.
