Since we're hopelessly off-topic anyway, I'll continue the thread drift and say that if you want the very best Richard Widmark movie, rent "The Bedford Incident", also with Sidney Poitier. For extra credit, figure out how to watch it on one of those vintage TV's.

Well another sucker just snagged one.. Pics tomorrow as it was a long trip over and back (600ish) and I swear to god I 70 is worse than a goat path. I quite counting the times the trailer went completely airborne...and I was going sloooow. Just ask my fans behind me that thought I was number one.
Sun Honda in Denver still has 2 more just sitting there if anyone is interested . Ask for Rob and he will treat you right.
I think we should give out a prize for the lowest vin number..006 here

Honda CB1100 Chic Design Fairing

This thread needs more pics! Just installed today. Keeps wind off the chest. I think it looks great.

That fairing looks fantastic. The way the color in front matches the color of the side covers really works well.

For some folks its a combination of more than one.

There is no one correct equation for all people.

Then I fit your description of a "motorcyclist" My interaction with the bike is the important part, and what makes riding fun. I love mechanical things, especially if they have 2 wheels and an engine. But they must remain mechanical, and have the characteristics of machines, including noise, vibration, and a few "quirks" I used to have an old pickup with a manual transmission, and the synchronizers were totally shot in it. But I learned how to blip the throttle just right to get it to slip right into gear. Someone used to driving modern, overly refined vehicles would not likely have been able to drive it at all. That was one of it's quirks, and did not seem to affect reliability at all.

Someday... Someday. My inner teenager is already looking at that with cafe bars. But I'm getting older, so *adjustable* cafe bars or maybe flat bars.

FWIW, my local Honda dealer has gotten and sold 3 CB1100s. I don't think this is going to be a losing deal for Honda.
