Yea doesn't matter what they estimate, you'll never convince the majority of people they can get by with less than 5 gals.

I had a Yamaha Venture, and it took only 4 gallons on a fill.
Yup, can't tour with that.

3 gallons 200 miles, I can't see it happening with my throttle twisting hand. Maybe if I put myself in some kind of a trance while staring at a giant tank bag packed with two liters of fuel, will I be able to get that mileage.

Just visited my local motorcycle store and my god is she georgous.

The whole showroom floor just looks like bleh compared to it. There would be a lot of bikes which would do the job I'd let it do quite a bit better, but I keep looking at this thing.

The manager was quite suprised that a 21-year old bloke was drooling around and on the thing for at least half an hour. I guess I really like it since I've always loved the oldskool Honda CB's.

Will take a while before I'm able to afford one. But I'm on a mission .

I've owned a number of bikes and can't recall any of them going over 200 miles/tank with any regularity.

I can't say it's ever really bothered me either.

Had a KLR650 a while, and with six gallons of gas and 50mpg, it would go 300 miles to empty. Three hundred miles on a KLR, while doable in continual travel, is not much fun. 150+ miles was enough at a time...It had some wind protection, too, not totally naked... tp

Lol my ST 1300 has a 7.7 gal tank and although it can go 315 miles without stopping, I can't anymore. It may have a 300 mile tank, but I have a 175 mile bladder.

Good to hear a young 'un likes it. In 5 years you can buy one at a nice discount from an old codger who never rode it much.

Maybe that explains the 1100 gas tank capacity- the bike's target audience.

I've got 15,000 miles on my Bonneville, 8,000 of which is touring. Never been a problem, even with its 3.5 gallon tank (says 4, but with the fuel pump in there you're lucked to break 3.5)

Yes, Son. She's beautiful. And timeless.

That's why she'll look good forever after. And because it's a Honda, it will be still running after I am dust. You, too.

It's the kind of bike you buy and never sell again. At least that's how I'm dreaming about it.

I took the Nomad out today. I did a nice long ride, but it's nice to get off and walk around after a couple of hours.
