Just a reminder of the RDV Picture Thread

I spoke to Mr. Tuna and he is in good spirits and little pain.

Ironic! On my way home I pass the Bluff City Flea market on a four lane. As I come past the entrance with my 1200GS and trailer behind it, I slow down, check traffic and proceed. The Dodge truck that was stopped to make a left turn across all four lanes inched out into the right lane, (I was in the left) and just as I get there he goes! I locked my brakes. All I see is fender coming at me fast, the bike pitches left, and somehow I got past him around on the shoulder with only the trailer wheel hitting his front bumper. Somehow the bike stayed on the trailer and I got it straightened out and onto the right shoulder.
The truck came back. It was an old guy with coke bottle glasses. He said, "I didn't see you."He was really shook up. I didn't swear or anything at him! I was happy to still be standing! I just shook his hand and said to be more observant because there's a lot of us out here.
I should have given him Rick's sticker.......

Thanks for the good time everyone!

Nice video drummer man.

Living on Seven Devils Mtn just above Banner Elk those GPS roads are the
roads I and Glenn ride multiple times per season.
We are lucky dudes.

We're glad you had the chance to run them.

You're a helluva guy Kyle , not many could keep their cool in that situation.
And thanks for helping me with the broken key in my side case.

Thanks very much to Hunter & Silke and everyone involved I'm already looking forward to next year.

Kirk, hope that ankle heals up quick and you're not in much pain.

I had a nice ride home , a few showers in Ky , pulled into the garage about 5:30
Great time!!!

Left camp at 7:40, made it to the house at 7:30. A solid 631 mile ride with a stop at Skyline Chili

I had a great time and met loads of good people. The food was great, the beer was great, the rides were great, the weather was so/so.

A special thanks to Cuttle and Hunter for doing such a fantastic job.

Best De-Noobing ever.

Thanks Silke & Hunter & Daniel & Shane & ...................... (all of the other names I always forget!!!).

We hit rain just north of Bristol and rode in it nearly all the way to Strasburg. Home at 1820 and just dumped everything on the porch.

Hope to be mobile in time for BYOB and looking forward to seeing everyone again.

People came out of their tents or away from the fire thinking a damn propane tank blew up. THAT was awesome!

Front Brake Problems

So that guy gets a free picture from me in the interest of safety. If anyone knows or sees him, could you flag him down and tell him he has a major safety issue going on with that caliper.

I'll be at the same spot on 421 tomorrow looking for more bike problems.

Cheers.
rode all day yesterday and 350 miles home today just saw your pic Thank You

Thanks!

Joyce and I really enjoyed the time we had at the event, a first for us. Thank you all for having us and making us feel so welcomed!

What a fantastic event and awesome group of people! Heck, I was even allowed to ride with the cool folks on Glenn's dirty ride. Glenn is one hell of a great ride leader, rider and all around nice guy. Thank you so much Glenn!

Hats off to Silke, Hunter and the rest of the gang who pulled off the best run event of its kind that I have ever been to.

Thanks to all.

Truck is fixed, Ducati not leaking and we are back in the trailer in the paddock of CMP set to put some rubber on the track in the am.

Hope to see some of you at the wedge on Wednesday. Looking forward to next years event!
