Soo we should be looking for more beer by Thursday morning according to my math? Or assume not everyone gets there Wed night?
So, about half way through Thursday night.

Mainly,BEER!

Black Bear sent me a price list for kegs, that includes some local brews from Depot St. Brewing, in Jonesborough, Tn. Since I've never tried any of their beer, I do believe a scouting trip is in order...

Some Saturday soon, we're going to head over there from Asheville. Any volunteers?

being Yuengling lights biggest fan I say a good light lager is needed. Or any lager or light lager. But I did enjoy the variety last year. Some more bitter than I prefer but I dont think I drank a 6 pack's worth. Have fun picking them out and be safe on youre journey.

Yea, I missed last year.
Sooo figure that in and your numbers look closer to
4 Thursday, 6 Friday, 2 sat morning (I doubt the bike will last that many days, so that number for Friday might go up)

Wink

Local craft-brews sound terrific! Nothing like immersing ourselves in the "local culture".

On another note: I have a question for all of you experienced off-road riders. I am mostly a noob to anything but dirt/clay roads (no rocks in Florida). I have a G650GS with no protection. Should I get a "bash plate", an engine guard, both, neither? I do not plan on going on the more aggressive rides. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! See you in May!!!

p.s. This will be my first ADV rally, so just letting you know that my dress size is XXL and a full length lavender dress sure would compliment my brown eyes!!

You should be fine without a skidplate.
