Looked like Doug working on someone else's bike in one of the vids posted on that FB page. Wouldnt surprise me if he was.

I hang out quite often at my brother's motorcycle shop. He is known for building reliable big HP Harleys. I get my hands dirty sometimes too. But; he doesn't work on anything older then early Shovelheads. He has a full shop and does the balancing etc, boring and building.
I would love to see the insides of the older bikes. They were built with pride.

Old valve collars didnt fit new valves, had to make new ones

Cyls needed bored and honed

Lapped new valves

Valve covers didnt fit new guides, altered them

Now im under a street light in a parking lot, filing ring gaps, installing valves, and reassembly
