Givi E36's as panniers on a K75

Has anyone done this? I picked up a set on Craigslist to replace my integral bags, and figured I'll make them work. So far, the only problem seems to be interference with either the turn signals or the passenger pegs.

I'm thinking I will just permanently mount them, though I may try to find/make a couple monokey plates to mount to the Z bars on the bike. I will either move or make turn signals. Possibly install signal lights on the bags, and wire them in.
