I would like to be added to the list for a tire tool with the 15/17 adapters.

I normally just take it to the shop and have them do it lol. But I hate to pay people to do things that I can do.

For the first time I'd say that was damned good. Hope when I get mine it goes so well.

The only thing I would have changed would have been to put some air in the tube before you put the second side on.

No you don't... just change your technique, insert the stem on the rim 1st. I used to fish the stem in when 1/2 the tire was on the rim too. One can just put the stem in the rim first, then lay the tube on the spokes and proceeded to mount the bead on 1/2 the rim. When that's done, put tube in tire, put a little air in the tire then spoon on the other half..

So you take the tire completely off when you change/repair a tube? Not me, I spent the $4 to make life easy.

On a repair I try to avoid braking the other bead if at all possible and I have ham sized hands so I fish.

I don't even do that. Put a little sir in the tube, put it in the tire and then on the opposite side of the tire where the hole for the stem is, lift up with a tire spoon. The stem all but falls into the hole. Works every time for me.

p.s. still waiting to hear if anyone has use this tool on big ADV type tires and/or street tires ?

Aye, put me down as interested in the next group buy as well.

I wonder if it will work for me on my Harley though. Super stiff sidewalls, toughest I've ever tried to fight with tire irons. Big belt pulley on one side, disc on the other. Not sure about the tool reaching over them, or if I'd have to dismount those as well.

Spent about 2 hours last night dismounting the old tire and mounting the new. What a horrible job. Pinched the blasted tube anyhow.

I did mine over the brake disk, not that they are the same, but I didn't even consider having a problem.

I do need a fisher, I'm still new to the whole bike scene for the most part I got my first 2 wheeler less then a year ago, so I am still building up knowledge and tools

. All I know is the first time I tried to do a tire, it took a few tube patches... Then a tube. This was way easier for me.

List updated, 30 inmates for 28 tools (2 guys from GB#1 just need adapters).

We have what we need to get the .25 discount, but the ideal shipment would be close to 45 tools + adapters, or so. I'd suggest we wait, plus Are is supposed to be in the US this month.
