looks like we are at 25, counting the one you guys are gonna comp me

Some of the emails are coming in, I need to be someplace where I can start writing out a list off my emails and organize what everybody wants and where they would like it shipped. I'm not limiting this to a certain number, but once we get to 30+ we can set a cut-off date.

updating my lists this morning, be sure to LMK your ADV name when you email me.

To be on my "final" list, I'll need you to email me:

1. name and shipping address
2. put your ADV name somewhere
3. how many units and adaptors
4. email addy you want me to use, I have a couple emails for some of you

Thanks,

Craig

Please go back to post #49 and see your tentative order, LMK if I made a mistake. I have it listed as #tools wanted, adapters, email and shipping addy.

I just checked with UPS and got a price of $15 to ship from FL to Denver, Georgia will be cheaper and Oregon will be more, but $15 might work out as an average. It would be a nightmare trying to bill everyone for the exact shipping fee, since I won't know until I actually ship. If these will fit in a USPS medium Flat Rate box I can ship them out of my office in FL for <$11 each, although I have had problems tracking USPS packages. Think about it....

from the USPS site, one of the medium Flat Rate boxes is 13 5/8" x 11 7/8" x 3 3/8" which is 1/4 inch longer than the longest dimension of the factory box, plus for the guys who order adapters I can just throw them in the same box. I'm leaning towards USPS....

I'm interested, have a few questions.

Do you have a total cost per unit at max discount including:

1- the unit itself
2- overseas shipping
3- domestic shipping via USPS
4- gift donation

Have you reached # for max discount?

Have you made contact yet with the overseas seller to confirm the deal?

Cutoff date to be in group buy?

I've read all the posts, but still a little unsure of the answers.

Thanks

1- the unit itself see my post #49, it looks like 107 + 11-12 (domestic ship) = 118-119 bones per inmate, not counting the PMR tip of 3 bucks. The CH guys paid 120 each I think.
2- overseas shipping see below
3- domestic shipping via USPS it looks like the box they come in will fit in a USPS medium Flat Rate box, which IIRC costs me about 11 bucks. The guys that are not ordering extra adapters will be subsidizing the guys that do because I have no way to charge everyone the exact shipping for their stuff. The extra pieces will fit in the FR box. I prefer UPS but we're talking 5 - 10 bones more per inmate - but it's whatever you all want - I could also do UPS or FedEx.
4- gift donation This is optional. Some guys wanted to tip me 5 bucks each, I suggested everybody kicking in, including me, and buy an extra tool which I will auction off here or sell on the FM. If we do 30 units, that's around 3 bucks each, including me twice LOL. But I'm not gonna dis anybody for not chipping in, but the guys that do will get theirs shipped first (in reality they will all go out the same day anyway)

Have you reached # for max discount? technically yes, at 21 units counting 2 for me. We had interest in 29 units, but I've been trying to get more of a confirmation, as well as email and shipping addy's. The seller told me 25% discount if 20+ units. Realize I haven't asked for any $$$ yet, although everyone that has emailed has said they are good for the money.

Have you made contact yet with the overseas seller to confirm the deal? I had emailed him 2 weeks ago when I decided to buy just one for myself, Are did not return that email. I emailed him again this morning and told him we would have an order for approx 30 units and asked him to verify availability, confirm pricing and discount, as well as the extra adapters. I also asked him an estimate for shipping all of them to me in FL. I understand from reading the CH site that the shipping to the US for 34 units was $300. I don't know anyone on that website to verify that number. My biggest concern will be communication with the seller especially since I'm gonna be giving him my VISA number for 3 Large.

Cutoff date to be in group buy? nothing is set yet, I'm camping on a moto trip until NOV 1 and doing all of this on my iPad over free WiFi. I'm hoping to get an order for 30 as that seems to be the best break with the shipping. I figured it would be easier & safer to place the order once I get back home, just so he could contact me easier if needed.

I've read all the posts, but still a little unsure of the answers.

Thanks

The cost if you buy 1 directly from Are is 117 E (shipped) which I believe is about 150 USD.

list updated this morning. 28 inmates have ordered 29 tools, plus various adapters. Of the 28 inmates, 6 have not confirmed with me. I'm thinking I'll shoot them a PM and see if they are still onboard.

Please, please, pretty please check the list and LMK if I fooked up. The emails got a little confusing for a non-techy guy like PMR. I want to be sure everyone gets what they wanted, or at least what they ordered.

Email from Are this morning, so we should be a "go" if we get the orders:

Hello!

Pricing is not changed for You. To USA max weight 1box by post is 31,5kg. One tool is aboat 1,5 kg. It means we must send 2 boxes, if You need 30pcs.
One box aboat 23kg. Post prizing to USA is 10,9EUR one box+3,8EUR 1kg. It is 98,3EUR 1box. Total shipping to USA 30Tyre Mounting Tools 196,6EUR.
After payment we can deliver tools in 7days.

Best Regards!

Are

Google tells me that's $256 for the International shipping, not counting the adapters. 256 / 29 inmates (assuming 30 tools ordered) = $9 each, maybe $10 each would cover the tools + adapters.

I've never used a credit card to order overseas, are there any other charges the CC company might add to the bill for the transaction? I've done International wires both ways, but never a CC.

I'd like to be able to order at least 30 units, but more would be OK too (unless we got to needing a 3rd shipping box - looks like ~ 20 tools per box). More than 30 might be better in case anyone has to bail at the last minute (don't want the order to drop below 30), but I don't want to get stuck with more than one "left-over"

I've never done anything like this before, I'm open to any suggestions...

PMR out

Thought there was only a 15 and 17mm options?
Is this for your Wr250?
I requested the 17mm
