From what I can tell it does not look like a group buy from the US was made. Is this correct, or is there a chance someone here in the US has a kit available they'd like to sell?

I've been gritting my teeth every time I go for a ride.
35000km on the stock pump, and waiting for the good Dr.Bean's fix in the mail.
It's good to hear all the positive feedback so far.

After a little research, I decided to not go with one of the facet or NAPA pumps, and went with a stock one. Luckily, a local dealer had one in stock. I may take my old pump and install a DrBean kit, and be ready next time. :)

for those who do not want to read the whole thread, info about dr_bean pumpkit:

US seems to work ok with regular mail (about 2 weeks shipping)
Europe I do with tracking if available (for most EU countries)
Other countries: usually regular mail works fine, but up to 4 weeks shipping time.

or just send me a PM.

mmm difficult it is master yoda ....

as far as I know, Maryland is still part of the US, so.. 2 euro for regular mail, or 25 for traceable pakage.

The force has left me and I am now brain dead. How much for two Bean fix it kits to Maryland in the USA ( in US dollars please). I am barely able to walk without hurting myself at this point.

just what the Dr. Ordered

Put my Bean kit in over the weekend. Great package with everything you need. Instructions are excellent too.
I've never soldered anything electrical before, but with youtube and a $10 soldering iron I was able to work it out.

I did 500+km today in the pouring rain, on and off road, etc etc. Pump works great.

Thanks Dr.Bean!

If the kit is still $50 euro then two kits with shipping assuming 4 euro for shipping two would be around $ 142.00. I got the 50 euro from an early post by Dr. Bean. If you need help just google USD to Euro and punch in the numbers.

Yes, you can buy a mechanical contact breaker set again.
But keep in mind: the original ones simply fail because after 50k kms the contact breaker has made about 5'000'000 switches, which is actually quite good for a mechanical switch switching 8 Amp inductive load... so it will fail again.
Diode doesn't add anything to the adventure pump, becaus ethe adventure pump HAS a diode internally (unlike the AT pump, which doesn't have that)

just me 2 ct.

price is lowered to 40 euro, simply because making larger amounts means buying parts cheaper.

The Adventure has an internal diode - I have replaced them. I am surprised the AT doesn't- are you sure? If not what does it use to supress the inductive "kick"? I sold some of my kits for ATs if no diode it would blow my circuit for sure.
