Yoshimura Fender Eliminator Kit?

Has anyone installed a Yoshimura Fender Eliminator Kit? If so, how do you like it? Is it easy to install?

Here is the inside. That is a front tube stuffed under the ledge. There is room for a rear tube In between that and the center post. These are heavy duty tubes...regular duty would obviously fit better.

Another prospective owner here with a couple of questions for 250L owners.

Anyone here ridden both the CRF230F and the 250L? I have the 230F and like the engine but the suspension, handling and 80% of full size bike are really getting to me.

Does the 250L have a more compliant suspension setup (basically softer, the 230 is massively overdamped) Less twitchy, and physically larger?

I'm 175lbs 6' with a 33" inseam and the 230 is borderline minibike to me.

Put simply, swap it out you will be happy.

To elaborate, see here: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=818809

Good info and links in that thread.

The best way to search:

1) Go to www.google.com
2) Type the following into the search bar site:advrider.com
3) Follow that up with what you want to find

Example site:advrider.com crf230l vs crf250l

I discovered this not long ago- amazing!

Thats why you haven't seen CRFL owners attack my post.

I do look forward to reading this...hopefully it's info.that we don't "need" to know anytime soon, but, "good" to know, my FI expertise are slim ta none, but enjoy reading about it all....

If you don't own a crf250l you are not allowed to ask questions about it here. FFS get with the prograam

I figured the best place to ask a question about the 250L would be in a thread where people actually owned them. I agree, lets keep with the friendly forums and save the swearing for Jo Momma.

FWIW: Put braided lines on my KLR650 but had to fatten them up in spots so the stock brackets will hold them in place. They were a significant improvement...I like what RamZ did to get rid that big dumb loop of hose going up over the speedo...but he doesn't share pix of where the "slack" for wheel movement ends up being. I THINK I saw doodads somewhere to put on the lines for this purpose...CRF's only MAYBE

BUT YES, all road tests I've seen they give the CRF poor marks on the front brakes....one speculated that the pads are probably VERY hard....but be cautious in swapping pads...I put some aftermarket pads on my XR400R...yeah they worked good...but they ATE the $$$$ front rotor....

Lost Rider: You got an opinion on this? Your recent ride looks like it mighta included some significant front brake usage

I know it's a sin for us to visit the WR250R mega site, but the above are pix of another road test of Kawi, Yammie and CRF......their sour grapes were"Honda won because it's cheap"

Whatever gents...lets move on...let them enjoy their blue toys

Get the whole enchalada here: http://www.cyclenews.com/articles/bi...e-of-the-250s/

WTF...I can't get it all there either! Maybe that's why CycleNews is no longer a print magazine!

Well, ya gotta have some MS Outlook Web App to read it...screw them
