I suggest you take the bars off and mount the Rox risers and measure the distance between the bolt holes. That's how I did mine and it was spot on. It took over a week for them to ship...so you may have time to get it changed if you need to.

Nice pile o' goodies there Gnath9! I went with the Flatland gear as well. I installed it this weekend and it looks to be very well made and fits like a glove. It says a lot when there is no bending, shimming, fiddling etc. to make parts fit...they just fit.

Headlight problems
Has anyone experienced any issues with their headlight? Riding home tonight, I realized that my running headlight won't turn on, but my high beam works. I pulled the headlight unit off tonight and found cracks in the plastic, and three of the connection points had been broken off. It may have been from a crash, but I don't remember crashing in a way that would affect the headlight unit. Could it be electrical like a loose wire or connection somewhere?

When I get off work today I will install the ROX risers and measure again. Mine will be mounted on the outside to allow for a Scotts damper and I did go with the fat bars. I really did take my time with them templates ![]() Now I am a little concerned

I couldn't take the chrome cap anymore so I taped off the bottom and sprayed 3 coats of plasti dip on it. Had to rotate the key flap a bit to get the one side. then let it dry and had to take an exacto and cut around where that little flap rotates so it woudln't rip the coats.
First impressions are it looks WAY BETTER.. durability... not sure yet. snow on the ground here so i will have to talk about that later.. but it is plasti dip so it really doesn't matter if it scratches off or rips off i can just peel it off and do it over again,it only took 10 minuets total time not counting drying time, or wait till an aftermarket one is available. got done at night so the photo is a little dark but you get the idea.. no chrome, black!

I was thinking of keeping the steel shifter because if it bent you could straighten it, vs a cast aftermarket one snapping. Then I saw this post on RideAsia.net!
."a fall on a CRF 250 L resulted in a broken gear lever which sheared the selector shaft off at the engine casing, meaning the rider had to ride all the way back in 3rd gear. This is the 3rd CRF 250L this has happened to in Chiang Mai." ![]() Anyone else have this happen? Bear in mind there are a lot of CRF250Ls in Chiang Mai and they're "ab-used" as rentals.
