emreturketi, most of use here could probably figure out what you want to do, but since you are using parts from different sets and types of guards, without them in front of me, I could not tell you what would work and what wouldn't work.

As long as I feel this bike is a keeper or at least until Honda upgrades the bike leaving the seat height alone, I decided to bite the bullet and order the speed/odometer corrector. Sure, I can figure a correction easy enough but living with the belief that at my age, "the finest is barely good enough," I went for it.

Oldtimer, I don't need a speed/odomerter corrector, I need an age corrector.

Thanks a lot everyone for the inputs! By the way I was there to watch in person when Bond's doubles making those amazing jumps!

Anyway who decides to visit Istanbul one day, just let me know, my wife is a professional tour guide and she can help you about anything!! We will be glad!

As for the handguards, I think I will go with the regular Cycra's and the front triple clamps..

PS: I'm having the bike tomorrow.. Will upload pictures!

Wouldn't that be nice. As long as I don't drop too low and have to go back to work.

There was a guy on the minimalist thread doing a tutorial on how to pack a bike for long trips, and he had a T-shirt on that said, "The only thing about retirement is, you never get a day off"!

OTD prices

Anybody have any info on recent otd prices in the Southern California area?

I was told a while back by a dealer that their cost is only $100 below the $4,499 retail. Hard to believe.

Looks like I might just go buy out of state...

I did too, but I didnt want to admit it. Also had to ask for help to figure out how to pump gas when there is a safety nozzle on it that works great for cars but not so much for bikes. One might say it is common sense but in reality it's something you just learn as it comes to you.

exhaust

Hey guys so i finally bought my first bike after my mother made me get rid of mine when i was 8 after crashing. But anyway i decided on the crf250l. Love it. I dont plan on doing much to the bike cause most cops around me are pricks. All i would like to do is put a slip on exhaust on. Im looking at the fmf q4 or powercore 4. i was wondering if anyone had just the slip on and how they liked it. And do i need to remap or get a programmer if i only add a slip on? Thanks alot guys

Temple City Motorsports was $5700 and I believe Bert's Mega Mall was around $5600.
