Thanks, I just looked and I think my taillight has never worked. It was way out of adjustment. A simple adjustment and we have a brake light now.

I was looking at the tusk d-flex handguards i know some people have bought them on here! If i buy the tusk d-flex and buy the triple clamp will the two work together?

I think they will. I actually have a set of the Tusks but went with the Cycra's as they were a gift. Wanna buy a set of lightly used red Tusks? I won't be home until tomorrow night but I can check if they will work on the front mounts. I'd sell em cheap. One of them has a small scrape across the front of the plastic otherwise great shape.

Nice setup. I'm envious of the trip. You live around some fabulous country. I spent my share of time in Boise at the BIFC. (i think it's called NIFC now?) Ride safe and watch for critters!

Nice back in the 80s! A bit before my time...Hotshots were tough back then. I Started in 96 on various crews and then Rookied with the Boise BLM Smokejumpers in 2003, been here ever since. Came from a Helicopter Rappel Crew over on the Salmon Challis. Your right it is all beautiful country. Some great twistie pavement and remote logging roads that spider out from the Treasure Valley for miles and miles.

Small oil leak

I picked up the LRP on Saturday am and drove home (17 miles) to find a small oil leak on the brake pedal side of the engine. It is only a small leak but it is blowing down that side of the bike so looks bad.

I havent spoken to the dealer yet as they were closed yesterday, but I have marked where the leak is coming from on the attached photo - does anyone know what this protusion hides in the crankase - is it some sort of breather or pressure release?

Thanks in advance for any ideas - fantastic bike apart from this, so smooth and easy to ride.
Lloyd.

Hey guys, need some info re the tail light wiring as I'll be fitting a universal DRC light/bracket. The DRC wiring is as follows

yellow - tail
red - brake
black - ground

I'm guessing that the green wire on the bike is ground as it also splits to the indicators, but what are the black & green/yellow wires for. I dont want to fry the light or any fuses.

Cheers
T

FMF pipes

Another question already

Does the FMF PC4 come with the bracket for the plastic over the exhaust as standard, or is this purchased separately?

A friend bought one locally however his came without. I have a sneaky suspicion that he was sold a universal pipe???!

Wow, small world. I was at the peak around 5pm today. Here's my ride heading back to Corona.

Exact same thing happened to a friend of mine, we took it to the service and they controlled and tightened all the screws, etc.. and said that if that's keep doing then we will go in more detailed.

But luckily it stopped!
