Fender eliminator

Who has installed the DRC fender eliminator kit amd is happy with it? Brighter than stock?

Debating if Yoshi unit is worth extra dough.

I think its brighter than stock for sure, do yourself a favor and when you install it,, silicon the whole thing up including the sides and front of the clear plastic that shines down on the plate, or you will get moisture/water in it. dont ask how i know.

Cool. Do you happen to have a pic of the tail light and then the brake light on? Harcomo took some pics of the Yoshi unit and it looked pretty good.

That's fine...just wondered. Does the DRC tail light have the capability to flash at a brake pull on its own or does it need the 12oclock labs flasher to do that?

needs the 12 oclock labs, I have the regular drc on my wr250r and the drc/12oclock labs on the crf, I will say that I have the smoked lens on the crf and regular red cover on the wr. The crf is just as bright even with that smoked lens its definitely eye catching!!!

I havent spoken to the dealer yet as they were closed yesterday, but I have marked where the leak is coming from on the attached photo - does anyone know what this protusion hides in the crankase - is it some sort of breather or pressure release?

Thanks in advance for any ideas - fantastic bike apart from this, so smooth and easy to ride.
Lloyd.
This is the same issue that my CRF has... Guys may I ask what to do..

Another issue on my CRF is that when soak in the rain the cluster gauge panel is having a moisture inside...

First is normal up until first servicing, second is normal as well and hasn't been a problem for me (it rains fall-spring here).

What is this pressure relief valve? Do the function of this valve is to spit out extra oil in the engine....

In my experience internal pressure relief valves don't normally squirt oil outside the engine. The normally act to relieve pressure if there is some sort of blockage in the oiling system by blowing off excess pressure form the discharge of the oil pump back to the sump. You want to get the dealer to look at this as a new engine shouldn't be leaking oil form anywhere.

I have not had this happen on my bike. You can see it in the Helm manual. You get to it by removing the oil pump. No mention of function, but in my opinion, it's there to let some oil exit, before it causes damage internally from too much pressure. I mean, there's a hole to let it out, so they must have determined it was necessary just in case somebody puts in more than the specified amount of oil.

edit: Wargasm posted while I was typing. Definitely get the dealer involved, getting an answer right from a hands on tech person.
