Garmin Montana 650t

Just got back from a trip to the Daniel Boone Forest in KY. Although the trip was great, I had a difficult time navigating to adventure roads. Meaning, every time I picked a destination the Montana routes to the Interstate. Is there anyway to disable interstate roads when navigating? Any help would be appreciated.
