Never mind the handling, you will surely get a trophy just for its Bad-Ass looks.

Yes, there will be donut videos for sure.

Hopefully I'll get the new seat soon, after an hour on the stock seat my butt's a bit sore.

I did a little reading on jetting and I have a few things to try. Which is good, because right now it won't idle below about 2400 rpm, it's hard to get going on a hill and just generally has a power band like my YZ125. The good news is that according to Teh Internet moving the needles should fix most of that.

I know this project has a budget (sorta' ), but, I think I'd enlist the tuning help of someone with a dyno, IMHO. I fought a Yamaha I-4 sportbike, for weeks, and, finally, threw in the towel. The guy had the bike running with proper A/F ratios within two jet/needle adjustments. Since then, I leave it to the dyno guys.

I'll end up doing that eventually. I just want to have an exhaust on it and get it running well enough to be mostly broken in before bringing it in. Hopefully I can do that by just moving the needle around and messing with the idle screws. I'm not trying to get it to run perfectly, just not misfire too badly.

CBRZ-650 Exhaust

Luke and his team of ninja mechanics made great progress today, here is what greeted me when I arrived home;

the sweet sound of a vintage 4 cylinder with 2 into 2 exhaust and super trapps!
