Wicked JP Enterprises...

Must put in a vote for JP Enterprise rifles (very well known in competition circles) and they make an incredible product.

I recently purchased one of their "SCR-11" models, with CNC'd upper and lower, heat sink, and side charge handle...

Here is a picture at the range, showing 25 yard, 100 yard and 200 yard targets.

...and here is what the gun is capable of (shot this 10 shot group at 100 yards). Rifle is unbelieveably accurate, will probably do even better than this with a higher magnification scope (I only have a 1-4x) and hand loaded ammo. I estimade the group to be under 0.6 inches centre to centre...

450 Bushmaster!

Not up on black guns but got to blast a couple this week. The above mentioned was very cool. Also shot a Sig 7.62 AR type and another in .223 .
May have to get one of those 450s.

I actually bought it back in '98. It's good to go. I put monsterman grip on it, which I believe allows me to use high caps. Magazine without a bullet . And NOW I know the mbus doesn't work up front! D'oh!

Is that a RAW then? If so you don't need the grip or BB.

I have a BB on mine but I've thought about going featureless so I can use my 20 and 30 rnd mags. Mine's a 14.5 so I'd have to drill out the pin, swap it to a brake and pin it. Kinda of a PITA and low on my list. I'm wanting to maybe do a dedicated 22LR upper (I have the Spikes drop-in as well) but I want a precision upper.

Anyone have any experience with 6x45 or 25x223 wildcats? I've been wanting to put one together.

I had an AR built for the 6x45 over 15 years ago and loaded it with 80gr bullets for better wind performance. That worked very well for longer range varmint shooting and it was fun working up loads and reaching out farther for prairie dogs. But, I wouldn't go that way with anything other than an AR platform and if I were now to look at building another AR upper I would probably be looking at a 300 Blackout. It all depends on what you want to use it for.

I just can't imagine any need for a red dot on a shotgun.

Pink/toy looking guns need their own thread (not bashing the gun, just it's a whole new phenomenon in firearms, the anti-tacticool).

It always looks kinda weird seeing these AR's that look more like toys than say my friend's airsoft version.
