For the purchase of an NFA item, but it obviously can't replace the Form1/4 right?

NICS would would have to be notified of the said felony then notify the state department, then the local DPS or whoever oversees the permits. Seems pretty complicated.

Does not replace the 4473. Does replace the check. Persons with the physical permit ARE exempt.

I ordered two lowers from CodeRed firearms in December with a 3-4 week lead time and still don't have them. They are the worst company I have probably ever dealt with. I looked the other way when news broke that the company sponsored a gun buyback so I probably deserve it. I am going to cancel the order today and start looking for another lower.

sig m400 enhanced
Sig M400 enhanced. What is a new one of these in the box worth. Was offered one today for $1400.00. Is that any where near reasonable. I was thinking they were going pre freak for around a grand. Am I remembering wrong? Guy that bought had to do the taxes and background check fee so he was out a bit more all total even if he got it for a grand or so.

Hey CodyY and RuggedExposure, thanks for hitting me back. I didn't get a warm fuzzy when he named his price. Haven't paid a lot of attention to the sig line so was operating on a flawed data base. Thought that might be a touch high.
Yeah RE I don't get those work offers since I retired. |

Normal value probably 850-1000. Not much demand for a 20" with carry handle these days

AR flat top scope mount
Couple of thoughts some of you might me able to use re: scopes on an AR platform rifle. Towards the end of last year I picked up a RRA 24" Varmint.. I ordered a Leupold V3 4.5-14x50mm w/varmint reticle scope along with a Leupold Mark 2 IMS, integral mounting system (mount and rings). They say the extra eye relief in their mount works better on ARs. A month or so later I forgot I'd ordered the mount and started looking for some mounts and got a great deal on some Burris Detachable low mounts from Midway, put them on the gun and stuck it back in the safe. My scope showed up and I thought cool. Need rings now. Went to the BX the next day and noticed they had the PROMAG dual ring scope mount PM067 at a reasonable price and bought it. Got home and got gun out and WHAT?? already had some mounts. Mounted scope on gun with Burris mounts and sighted it in. Shot great but wasn't loving the mounts, too far back for me. This past Thursday another box shows up and there is the Mark 2 IMS mount I'd ordered. Took scope off of Burris mounts and mounted with Mark 2 IMS. Hey! they were right- this is an awesome mount for a scoped AR. Easy to get the proper eye-relief and the height is just right. May have to buy 2 more of these for my other AR varmints. Kind of detailed but if I'd had this information available I'd have already had and been using the Mark 2 mount system on the other guns. Hope this saves some of you some time and money. |

They tried to pass similar laws in CO couple of years ago. passed both house and senate but the Gov vetoed it if I remember. Of course this was before CO went full retard on the gun control crap

Been quiet in Tacticool land.
Last week I bought a Seekins forged lower from Midwest PX. Shipped out in an hour and now waiting for me at the FFL. Now all I need is a LPK, an upper, barrel, and the BCG. The searching continues.......

Pre-ban in California? CalGuns is the site you want to query. You could get a fine price for it as the value is in the lower. Heck, you could probably strip the upper and stock off and sell the assembled pre-ban lower for a pretty penny in any of the left-leaning commie states.
