Rules for Stateline, Iron, Bergland, Republic, Bill Nicholls, Freda, and Hancock route in MI's UP: "DNR license (ORV sticker) required unless Licensed by the Secretary of state"

So as long as you are street legal/plated no sticker required.

Porterfield, Bass lake, Baraga plains, Norway trails require stickers. There are more to the east that require stickers but that would be a long day from the campground.
