GSA bike problems

Hey everybody!
My name is Lee. I have a BMW R1200 GSA 2010.
After my bike did a 10 000km service and software update (2013), the bike began to vibrate and every time I slowed down into any gear, mostly on the second and third gears, the bike backfires twice! I complained to BMW service and they fixed the vibration but said that the backfiring is normal. I personally have a friend who drives the same bike and does not have this issue. Even for myself, i never had these issues until the service. Has anyone experienced these problems as well? Any suggestions?
Thanks!
