Nice work, Nadine!

SpawnOfEC has taken up quilting. Something she does frequently with 'MomOFEC'.

That's a screaming deal and would make a fine gift if someone is having trouble finding a home for it in their own home.

Thanks EC.
Glad to hear MomofEC is passing down quilting to SpawnofEC. Kayla is getting into quilting at just the right time, there's a whole movement of youth quilting the last few years. Its reassuring to know the craft is going to continue in future generations.

Ask her to post pix on her FB page, I'd love to see what she made!

How much does it weight?

How many hours did it take to produce (approximately)?

A king size mattress measures 76W"x80L", and I can make quilts up to 95"wide with no limitation on length. If those measurements work for you, let me know and I will make you a quilt in the colors of your choice.

Price depends on the cost of materials and how complicated the quilting pattern is.

Thanks for your interest,

Thanks for the compliment.

You're right when you say labor of love
Snuggling under a handmade quilt in the winter is a great way to stay warm

Even my dog has his own quilt, quilted with dog bones Great for keeping dog hair off the back seat of the car.

Halloween

Just in time for The Great Pumpkin

Spooky Halloween Quilt

Whether it's the Great Pumpkin, Freddie, Jason or Dracula, this quilt was meant to snuggle under! Featuring Moda's Monster Bash, and fabric in shades of orange, green, black and ivory, this 45.5 x 49" couch throw just screams Halloween!

$135.00 plus shipping

Perfect for two adults, or one adult and two children and a bowl of popcorn, this chevron quilt is made to last many years. The Moda and Kona 100% cotton fabrics are densely quilted using a pumpkin, bat and cat design. The quilting closely matches the designs on the fabric and makes for a spectacular combination. The black double French fold binding is turned to the back and stitched down by machine for added durability. The batting is Hobbs 80/20, known for its softness, warmth and the ability to withstand the test of time.

This quilt is also pieced on the back and quilted with contrasting thread, which makes it reversible.

The quilt is made in my smoke free professional quilt studio and is signed and dated.

Quilts can be machine washed on a gentle setting with mild detergent, and tumbled dry. Be sure to add Clorox color catchers to the wash the first time you launder it.

Ships in medium flat rate box with insurance and tracking number. I will gladly combine shipping with other items in my shop and save you as much money as possible.

Also available in a diamond pattern measuring 45x52 inches

If it's camo would you be able to see it?

By mixing a bunch of greens together and adding in some tans and dark browns you could have a very nice color pallette for a quilt. You would need to keep the background fabric ivory colored so the colors popped a bit for contrast. It would work nicely though.

What a great idea
