Hi Step, still got the honda. Just added a "proper" bike for touring and longer trips. I fought a good fight for years trying to have the one bike that can do everything but was finally beaten into submission that two bikes is better than one.

I just went to a 1150 GS....gluten for punishment
WP forks - non adjustable (may do some setup work if necessary). Sachs rear. I'll have to see what it's like before swapping it out.

I will take delivery on Saturday. Skid plate, crash bars, hand guards, and seat have been ordered. I'd better stop with the cash hemorrhage before it's too late...at least for this year.

Still in the country and its looking it will stay that way. Somehow I don't seem to fit in with the city folks

Ok, so Laird and I are in for this. We are intermediate riders, but not too fast or aggressive. If your looking for a team let one of us know. Can't wait for June now.

where's the beef?

Needed some more meat in the front end of the KLR soI ordered a pair of progressive springs. I liked GMBs idea of a KLR front end but I havent found one for a price worth doing it. Found the box on the porch the other day compliments of UPS. Unfortunately the end was ripped out from the inside and it was empty, GRRRR.

KLR650.com has already sent another pair so I will get it back together next week sometime but seriously, why would somebody bother to deliver an empty box?

Cant buy any other bikes this month. Picked up a real clean klr250 to teach my son on whenhe is home from UT this summer. The wife is not pleased with that idea. Ooops!

UPS!!! They have consistantly provided my business (and personal) with the worst service. Mostly damaged packages with damaged goods insde. They ALWAYS say the item was improperly packed.
