Dirtbag welds cracking!

I have a friend that bought a set of Dirtbaggs panniers that have had some of the welds break. I know they have barely been used, and not abused, so was wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

I have the rack for my KLR and I haven't had any problems with it. I load Mermite Panniers on it and it works great. I don't really beat it up, but for routine use it's been great.

The Dirtbagz rack welds cracked on my KTM 640 after a few years of off road riding. I had them re-welded by an experienced welder and never had a problem again.

Mine on a 640A are still fine after over three years and a few spills. The rear subframe on the other hand is an entirely different story.

One of my racks cracked....had neighbor weld it....cracked again.

Called dirtbagz, and they sent me a new rack for a reduced price. Excellent customer service!
