FP Racing Levers

http://www.ktmtwins.com/fpracing-lever

Ordered these last week from KTM Twins and received today. I ordered the standard length and longs were sent. These are about one inch longer than the factory levers and do not fit inside the stock hand guards. Are the shorty's the ones I need? anyone with direct experience please chime in. The box they came in only shows an option for long or short. Confused as to what standard length is.

I tried calling them twice, first time busy, second a recording telling to email which I have. No response yet.

I have the short ones and they fit inside my handguards. I run the black plastic ADV guards on my SM so they should work for you as well.

NOTE: You will need your OEM spring and your freeplay adjuster for the clutch lever, and the plunger from your OEM brake lever as the replacement levers do not include any of these parts even though the free-wheel adjuster is pictured in one of the FP pics on their site, apparently it was an old file photo.

Just got an email from Jen at KTM Twins. They say this has been a problem before. The shorty's ARE OEM length. Good service even if I could not contact them by phone.

I've been in contact with those guys a couple of times over the past couple of weeks. They usually get back the same or the next day. If you really need them, they are housed with Scuderia West in San Francisco. They're pretty helpful. I don't know if they want that getting out, but I can't see why not, it's also a KTM dealer.

I use the short lever for the clutch and the long for the brake. Originally, I had the OEM guards. Now I use the HDBs.

I use the short on the clutch side........ these leavers are worth 10 times the price. They feel perfect in your hand....... Unbelievably good. I have a motomaster 11mm radial on the brake side, but could not fit one to the clutch side because I love that leaver to much. I got a CJ fluid extension instead.

Acerbis rally pro hand guards

Did I say how much I like that leaver Got it from Black Dog

The owner of KTM Twins is a most helpfull inmate here in the OC. You can pm him.........
