I just got in from watching the shakedown stage. Early reports are that the road has the exact perfect grip, just enough moisture
Should be the same tomorrow. To quote one rider "FUCK YEAH THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!" Saw something neat, a Side By Side (Can-am?) running the shakedown. Not street legal, so only running as a demonstration on the special stages, no transits. I heard that they are working on a class at RallyWV, IF they can get permission to run the transits. Also saw a gal on a KTM that was hauling ass! She should have a pretty good run tomorrow. Her pony tail could hardly keep up. Right now I can hear the cars and bikes running towards Chesterfield for the Parc Expose', Good Luck Guys (and Gals) |

Never have liked ending the day's racing seeing friends in the hospital. Hope it's a walk out the door thing.
Spent the day in the woods myself--unfortunately running a log skidder!

Got a course assignment where I met everyone, if only for a moment. (almost everyone, heal quick Jenna!
)I was filling out your timecards at Finish Control at the end of SS3, Sextons Pond. I think I wrote everyone's times accurately ![]() Finish Control was HECTIC. Listening on the radio for the times from the team up the hill at Flying Finish and all of a sudden 3-4 or 5 bikes come in together! Grab the card, scribble the time on it and hand it back. I need a clipboard next time. The lid off my cooler wasn't working that well. |

Ss6
Couldn't make it to SB this year. On a short leash this weekend supporting a big military exercise.
Looking at the results on the website it looks like most of the bikes didn't make it thru SS6. What's the deal? Are the final results posted on the website official? Jenna, Never met you, but hope you heal up soon!

She (Jenna) was in Patrick when I went through today. Little bit concussed but good. Couldn't do anything this year other than sneak out after 1/2 day at work.
Always next year.
