Market research - RAMSHOX

Hi there guys, posted over in Vendors re: RAMSHOX. [www.ramshox.com.
www.realmengineering.com ]

However, some market research required and I guess you are the right guys to give feedback.

Realm Engineering have been asked to look into expanding their range of alloy bodied shox to suit GS models. Already developed for the Kay series, Airheads and Oilheads.

What do you guys want in a shocker ?

They've also been asked to look into a replacement for the later active ride rear shox ..................... over to you.

Field serviceable by the user with simple hand tools. I can rebuild half the hydraulic cylinders on the my farm with an adjustable wrench, hammer, and screwdriver. I had to ride over 4000 miles through Mongolia and Russia because my 2 month old aftermarket shock with 5 year warranty lost all of its oil and turned into a pogo stick. A warranty is worthless when their are no repair shops, and even the manufacturer cannot get a replacement shock to you in the middle of a journey.

Useful input invited for those without farms ......................
