Best looking GS
The GS has been around more than 30 years. What's the best looking GS you have ever seen or maybe owned. Although i have never owned one I love the looks of the 1150. Which rendition will go down in history as iconic? Post the pics.

The cover shot of Helge Pedersen's book: 10 Years on Two Wheels.
The fantasy that image captures is easily what continues to sell those bikes to this day. It was probably a chunk of why this very site came into being. This is the Genesis moment, the GS singularity: ![]() Close second: Gaston Rahier's Dakar winner: ![]() /thread |

Looks-wise, an '83 GS1100ED or ESD is much prettier than an 1150. I had a red ED. I have one of these GS' now.
![]() Pretty? I don't think any BMW GS is pretty. |

Don't mess with the classics too much. Originals are best.
