I've got one major bitch with my new JK. It might sound minor but it drives me crazy:

There is no pivot point on the accelerator pedal. The pedal and arm it attaches to are all one piece. It feels weird. As I press the pedal down, it forces the toe of my boot to slide across the assembly and it feels unnatural

anybody else notice this?

Now that you mention it I realize you're right, but I never would have thought about it if you didn't point it out.

Not until now. Thanks.

Thanks Hardware! I am really liking it. Got enough miles on now to follow the break-in rules and have a few full throttle accelerations (not in a low gear). I have the 3.73 diffs and it's faaaaast. Looks great, too. They changed the color sometime, the new one is more lipsticky, but still looks great.

As far as I can tell, they are changing the color palate almost weekly.

yeah. I've been getting around 17 on my '11 Rubi. Better then the 12MPG the Land Cruiser averages, but pales to the Golf TDI the Jeep replaced

not sure what you mean. What color is it supposed to be, the deep cherry red metallic? Looks good to me.
I was told, and the order form wouldn't let me do it, you had to get the color matched top to get the color matched fender flares. I like the fenders painted with the black top. Interesting to see it.
I know they always have a few limited availablility 'skittles' colors, dozer, crush, and gecko were all earlier this year, now it's commando, dune, and the soon coming floyd(what the wife is waiting for). They seem to run for about a year, crossing over model years. They seem to have a good handle on how many of the oddball colors they can make and sell, then go on to the next before they flood the market and you see them selling them at big discounts. If I can find a gecko, I'll buy it, but at this point, it looks like we're waiting for floyd.

I wasn't talking about my Jeep, just the skittles colors. Seems like they change the colors all the time? Even my Deep Cherry is different than the Deep Cherry of a few years ago.

There are a few Geckos nearby, I dislike it. But, I would probably dislike Floyd too. On the other hand, I just saw a True Blue this week and it's gorgeous.

Silver was as close as I could find to something I liked. Not my first choice. I wanted green (either a dark green or an olive drab green..not gecko) but impossible to find on a Rubicon

had mine offroad for the first time today. Did a really steep climb in a tremendous amount of mud. I too am wishing for a 3 speed transfer case. The low side of this thing has me in 3rd and 4th gear for mud work where I need some wheel speed. I'm amazed at some of the things I was able to do. My other locked vehicle has All Terrain tires and in mud it does not compare to the Rubi. Since I'm not a rock crawler, the 4:1 case is lost on me The lockers, however, are not. I was a little bit disappointed though that it takes some backing up, going forward, and general jostling around sometimes to get the Locked lights to turn off completely and not flash off and on. Same is true for the sway-bar disconnect. At one point I had all 3 lights just flashing at me
