Since the bike and all his riding gear are spotless and no visible slide marks in the stones I'd say it fell over by accident or was layed down for a funny photo.

Here's one from my trip down to the Dragon last week. Had a great trip and ended up hitting Cherohala Skyway, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Skyline Drive too.

Classic noob mistake....

My young friend hit his front brakes while pulling off into the gravel....

...and he had to "lay her down"........

Nothing hurt but his pride....

It isn't, and per the first post, doesn't have to be.

No, somewhere around Medora : http://goo.gl/maps/WVKhN

A few miles south of Indy, south central Indiana is chock FULL of primo twistage, hills, and even cool gravel and dirt roads all the way to the Ohio river.

Obligatory photo... somewhere in Brown County last fall:

Geez, they must be paving that Hwy 5 agressively!! I was through there in 2007, and the pavement lasted about 1/4 mile south of Puertocitos.

Goes all the way to Gonzaga where they're working on this bridge.

I'm glad I visited Gonzaga before it gets all populated out, and full of drugs, violence, etc. Beautifull place.
