It would make more sense if it was called DR BIG II or something like that. They took the most recognised part of the Strom, the front fairing, and instead put on an ugly Roadrunner like beak. Why?

The best description of the new Strom came from my wife.
The first thing she said when I showed her a picture of it was:"O my God,what is that?!...it looks like a Chinese GS..."

Please do not offend DR Big by suggesting this new concept has anything remotely related to old great machine.
Despite I sold mine I still missing it. And it looked like one solid piece of machine unlike this concept. And beak is not even remotely resembling Big.

Why don't you guys get out and ride instead of writing whiny posts about the look of the new Strom? Start living in the real world - things CHANGE.

If you don't like the looks of the new one there is an easy solution, don't buy it when it's released! Or, keep your old one, take care of it and continue to ride it for many years!

As a V-Strom owner, **I** personally LIKE the looks of the new bike. I will continue to ride my 07 for as long as it still excites me.

And then, I will lost likely but the new one.

You guys just whine far too much.

You probably have a Pontiac Aztek, don't you?

Yes, if I'm lucky enough to be buying a new bike in the next few years it definitely won't be the new Strom.
The new Aprilia Caponord looks quite nice.

Reading this thread lately makes me think, maybe they should actually make another, little bit prettier version of this bike for poser bikers?? Pink would probably be a perfect colour for it, with golden switches, footpegs and mirrors, and would also help to stand out of the crowd – which, afterall, is the most important thing in motorcycling

This is true, I think it needs some brand names plastered all over it as well.

Suzuki should make a Louis Vuitton - Gucci - Ray Ban - Cartier - Rolex - Hennessy - Moλt & Chandon - Strom.

And sell it for a bargain basement price of $100,000 Dollars. Then everyone will be happy.

No, even uglier – two Wee-Stroms!
But I always try to avoid riding where there might be mirrored walls, as they cause me great shame.

I rode the 1200 Dorso. I've had many twins (sport and otherwise) and curently I have a tricked out SV1000 and aDl1000 and in my opinion the Dorso 1200 motor is absolutely hands down the best. capo aperently is the same motor untouched. Also in my opinion this is the best looking out of the bunch.
