Thanks. The snow made me wonder. Looks like you cut it close.

George the Badass
Quote:
This will explain what a badass George is, and why i refer to him as crazy George! In MAY of THIS YEAR... 2012... YES I SAID MAY OF THIS YEAR... George was riding the UTBDR and almost finished when he crashed. This is what he broke... 8 broken ribs, most broken more than once. Also a broken collarbone. And top it off with a broken shoulder blade and a partially collapsed right lung. Here is a pic of him as he is about to be air-lifted by helicopter to a hospital in Provo Utah... [IMG] [/IMG]Here is George 4 months and a couple of days later, in the same spot where he wrecked... [IMG] [/IMG]A true adventure badass! Thank about that the next time you got an little bity owie and you don't wanna go riding with your friends...

Terrific story, Peter!
Now you have to go back and see the pass in the daytime.

Makes me proud to know ya. Great report and what an adventure. It isn't an adventure without some drama. Suspension setup makes all the difference. You really need to ride a well set up bike once to get a reference. Sounds like you are about there. Good to see you back. Give us a heads up next time and I will loan you my SPOT so we can track your progress.
