Tiger 800XC Cockpit View
Sweet bike, lots of room and power for options-n-gadgets. I'd like to see what others have done with their cockpit. Post up pics of your ergo's/electronics/Tank bag/Wind protection setup and include what models of equipment you installed. Anything you would change/hate/love would be great
Great site and even better riders!!! Any info is greatly appreciated! (p.s. I don't have much done to mine so nothing really to show)

We'll I'll start it off with my rig...
Here's a few pics of my work in progress. So far I have a hardwired waterproof USB power outlet, Nuvi GPS (Not waterproof) on RAM mount attached to the bracket behind shield, SW Motech tank bag with evo lock. So far I like how the tank bag sits visually as well functionally. I definitely need some bar risers, anyone have a good place to buy from? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm digging the waterproof outlet...
I just mounted the Triumph accessory CNC Machined GPS mount this morning, even though I don't have a GPS unit to mount to it. Looking for a suitable waterproof enclosure to mount my HTC X One phone instead. -Tom

You may look at a Otterbox for that. http://www.otterbox.com/htc-one-x-ca...efault,sc.html My wife has one on her Iphone, doesn't look too bad. I have a nice Android GPS app that works great although my EVO doesn't work well in the direct sunlight. Dubl-A screwed with this post 10-03-2012 at 11:05 AM |

Anyone have a heated seat option on this beast?
I have the Saddlemen Adventure Track seat with heat but not sure where I want to mount the control module. I like the stock Triumph control buttons but are they compatible with this seats (coax?) plug?? Also does the stock heat control have increment settings of heat?? ![]()

Calm down, willya?
To answer your heated seat question; no, I don't have a heated seat. I'll put on the heated gear (clothing) when I need to, though. One question I do have for you is how do you like your GPS mounted above the instrument cluster? I use a Montana and swap it from bike to bike using RAM balls and the Garmin rugged mount. However, I tend to mount it close to the left hand switch cluster on every bike, because that makes it much easier for me to make selections on it.

What connection type is your heated gear? Also, is the control unit specific to the gear?
Mine looks similar to this:
