Bridgestone ED11 or Ed77 tires?
Anyone have exerience with either of these tires? Thinking of trying one on the front of my 950SE. They sound like a tough and somewhat inexpensive tire. Want to go with something more aggresive than the 50/50 type tires i've been running. I know they aren't DOT approved, but does that really matter?

I think the ED 11 has had good reviews on the 950's
The ol 739 FA (dunlop) was a good front, but its not made any more. The ED 11 has a similar tread, so it will be my next front when my stock of 739's are gone. I agree with you about DOT. I think all it does is make your tire weigh alot more.

I picked up a couple 77s and an 11 awhile back on a great deal for my 990. I have a couple thousand miles on the 77 and i really like it, it is holding up better than the Donlop 606's that i have been using for a few years. It feels like the knobs wrap around the side farther, holds well on side hills. I was leery at first but it has seen the 1teens a few time and handles it.
Haven't mounted the 11 yet and probably wont till next year but that was my tire of choice on my 2 smoker dirtbike back in the day. i used to get away with 7 psi in them, tough tire.
