950 Stupid Enduro + Shroai battery dead??

How many cells are in the shorai? is there a balance plug I could use? ( My charger will balance up to 6 cells ). from .1 to 8amp charge rate.

I'm assuming I will have to charge it like a regular RC battery .. Plug the main +/- wires in, and additionally plug the balance port in ( if there is one? )

Hey there, I PM'd you but basically with any of the starter batteries you are balancing only banks of three 3.3 volt cells either cylindrical or prismatic to make 13.2 at basically 2.3 amp hour. Double the cell banks in parallel and your numbers just add by 2.3 to get the amp hours. 6.9 amp hour = 3 cell banks of 4 cells, so = 12 cell battery. As I said earlier, alot of the specs of these batteries are BS.

Well I could not resurrect my battery...its done.

So I bought another one and the charger UGG.

All working now! now that i have the propper charger should be fine, although I do need to figure out what is leeching power while it sits. the clock cant possibly drain that big old battery in 6 months can it?

Anyway Super Enduro is back in action and ready for a trip this weekend freezing nuts...hopefully the snow isn't too bad lol.

Likely some kind of electrical fault. I would get it checked or you may end up with another boat anchor for a battery.

New battery comes with front mount terminal adapters and drops into tray with no need for spacers. Weight 2.2 lbs
This also has the built-in BMS balance and protection circuit which is why it has a full 2 year warranty.

You can look for the drain on the system, pull the fuses and then put them back in one at a time you will find the short if there is one causing the drain that will help you locate the circuit it is on.
