In the event regulations under Art 9.3.

It states that one spare engine is approved for marking at technical verification.

And if used the exchange of the engine must be brought to attention of the Race Direction at least one hour prior to the start of next leg.

For exchange of motor there is to be a time penalty of up to 15 minutes.

The use of a motorcycle that does not posses the approved markings/race number on the components (engine/gearbox/frame) will lead to exclusion.

If one was to start speculating from the results of this single stage... that's a long time to wait for your water carrier in the event of a mechanical.

Pedrero-Garcia was 15 min behind Coma. I still haven't found out why Ruben Faria isn't racing this one.

Tell me, what other outfit on the web - but the f5 crew - could come up with a terminology that includes "ASS local time" and "See pee four to ASS split" as part of it's vernacular... and think nothing of it...?!
