If I got it right it's Barreda up front now (opening the track) where the roadbook veers South. Chaleco seems to be heading too much to the West.

I think Barreda is first on the road, then Cyril and Casteu together.

. Prolly the orange line is shortcutting to the South and the intersection on the roadbook is further ahead (to the West)

All the other going West like Chaleco.

Yep, orange line cuts across that land mass. They need to go around it.
Maybe we can only relay on the points of the orange line, not the connecting parts.

Latency on the Irritatingtrack is big today (>5 min) kinda hard to figure actual positions.

Up to the intersection South there's a track. Now, judging by the speeds... prolly CAP off-piste.

If you look at the terrain, they were all skirting to the north west to make the entry to the dunes ( ithink maybe Despres went in earlier than Chaleco and barreda) but again the time difference in the signals from the irritrack "skews" their real path as opposed to what shows on screen.

So what's the best guess for CP2 - that little zig-zag down at lower left?

Now all are making a bee line for the next WPM (more like 45 degree bend) in the orange line att bottom of the "optimum" route

That's as good a guess as any

It is in a wide dry river crossing
