It's a (theoretical) representative line to indicate (roughly... veeeery roughly) where the course is plotted. So far this week, only the DSS (start) and ASS (finish) CP's are accurately positioned and the "orange" line is only a fairly arbitrary line, to give an impression of where the route is. Some of the CP's (a source of much F5ing speculation at times) have been pretty craftily positioned.

I'm really getting into this rallye side of Offroad. The way the Europeans do things is kinda cool. Is rallying normally this cool and interesting ?

Ummm... to f5 nerds... yes... to your run of the mill dirt biker... probably not (but they all love the video's ). But yesterday (and today shaping up to be) something quite special... hence my praise of N.P.O and the "formula 450" movement theses last couple of days.

Tell me how the economics work? Are the teams funding for R&D or is it an advertising play into the European consumer market?
Rally economics... is like taking a hollywood studio fan out to the desert, putting the switch on "full thrust" and then opening a big sack of money and watch it blow away erratically into the wasteland as your accountant pelts you in the face with dust and throws rocks at you...

If Pržinosky brings it home at this sort of pace I'll believe he has some alien blood in him.
